It seems that lately, one of the my main purposes in life is to be a cat pillow to my 2 cats. But I am okay with that! I had to have my drawing stuff nearby in order to draw this, because once one (or both) of the cats are settled, I have a hard time disturbing them, so I won't move for a while. Typical cat household - the cats are really the rulers!
I did this with watercolor pencils in my moleskine sketchbook.

Love your kitty! S/he looks so cozy. I also live in a two-cat household. They do rule the place - until the Sheltie starts barking and herding. Then they just sit under a chair and stare at him til he gives it up.
Love your cat-drawing. No other than cats can look so totally relaxed... You managed to capture it perfectly!

OH I LOVE your kitty sketch....too sweet...and so lifelike...great job...I have a jack russel curled up on my feet right now:> what would we do with out our furkids:> Wonder where the kitty is...he was in the sewing and trying to love me to death while I was sewing...funny animals...
I can understand completely your relationship with your kitties. Mine actually allows me live in her house with complete grace. I hope that your cat enjoys your portrait of her as much as I have.
That is one comfy cat! You've captured her (him?) beautifully.
