I've been working on this for the site They Draw and Cook. I love that site! Before I submit it, does anyone have any critiques? Click on image to see it bigger.

This turned out wonderful Lynn! Great job! I finally found my recipe, and have the idea in mind, but still working on #4. I'm glad we have an extra week! :)

Oooo, I love this Lynn, it's adorably delicious! The only eensy weensy thing you may want to try is adding a little bit of shadow under the base of the cake (where the cake is sitting ON the base, not the stand)not sure if this is necessary, but just a thought, disregard at will! Thanks for your visit-I forgot to mention that out of the almost 400 attendees 28, yes 28 were illustrators! I think they're were about 12 author/illustrators! Amazing that more don't attend, then there might be more workshops. I have to say tho, they did have quite a bit, plus a poster contest which I didn't enter. See ya around, cheers!

I love the illustration but I would just say the police of the writing isn't easy to read. If anyone else think the same, perhaps you could think about it

wonderful and whimsical work anyway

Thanks for all the comments! Susan - good point! I was actually typing my email to submit to the They Draw and Cook site when I saw your message. I added a shadow there, too! Thanks!
