Sketchbook Project

Thanks to some of my illustrator group friends, I've done something that's out of my comfort zone –  I signed up to be part of an art show. It's called The Sketchbook Project, and its being put on by The Art House Gallery of Atlanta. It's a very cool idea to get lots of people who sketch involved: they send you this small sketchbook and you fill it up (or not) and send it back to them. Then, all of the books will be part of a traveling show. It's coming to my town on March 11 at the Soulard Art Market. Join in! The deadline is Feb. 15. Check it out here.

Remind me when it comes - maybe we can get together, have dinner, and see the show. What's your favorite Soulard Restaurant?

I will be checking this out for share and I am glad that you where pushed out of your comfortable little nest cause you are to darn talented and funny to keep all that wholesome goodness under wrap. Other people need to see what I see when I look at your work. I'm so proud of you. If I were close to you I'd give you such a big hug! YOU GO GIRL!!!! Merry Christmas to you and Hubby and the rest of the family. Have a blessed and happy one!

Clearly our avatars were meant to be together. :-) Hey, congrats on the art show, sounds fun. I've been part of a moleskin exchange for the past 11 months. You can see the link in my blogs if you want to check out the stuff. Keep creating! :-)
